Parents are the most important part of language and communication. Parents of children with greater needs can often feel lost and overwhelmed when it comes to helping their child develop the ability to communicate for themselves.

This program is aimed at parents whose children have communication difficulties and those who are thinking about using AAC. You’ll learn:

  • How language develops

  • What you can do to build your child’s language

  • How to use Keyword Sign

  • How to pick an AAC system

  • How to pick a target vocabulary

  • How to make it all work together

  • Bonus: Writing a communication plan that’s ready for the NDIS
